48V / 60V / 72V Brushless Motor Controller – Wholesale

48V, 60V and 72V brushless motor controllers sourced from China against a written matching sheet. We confirm voltage headroom, phase angle and Hall arrangement, throttle and display protocols, connector pinout and housing protection before a batch is released.

CinoSourcing is a buy-side sourcing agent and freight forwarder, not a controller factory. Prices, MOQ, current ratings and lead times are not published here; they follow the matched sample and your quantity breaks.

AT A GLANCE
Who this is for  two-wheeler and tricycle distributors, repair networks, fleet workshops and assemblers replacing or specifying controllers by vehicle model.
What we confirm  the system voltage family, motor and Hall arrangement, phase angle and self-learning behaviour, throttle and display protocol, brake and reverse inputs, connector pinout and housing protection.
What we do not claim  we are not a controller factory, and we do not claim a unit is universal, plug-and-play or compatible with any named vehicle brand.

The Part That Decides Whether the Vehicle Moves

A controller is a small box with a disproportionate ability to stop a shipment. The voltage label can be correct, the housing can look identical and the connector can even fit, while the phase sequence, Hall arrangement or display protocol is wrong. The vehicle then either refuses to run, runs backwards, or loses instrumentation. None of that is visible in a catalogue photograph.

We treat a controller order as a matching exercise rather than a commodity purchase. Our 48V, 60V and 72V controller matching checklist explains the method in depth; this page is where you request the matched part. The wider parts cluster is mapped on our EV and spare parts pillar.

CinoSourcing is a China sourcing agent and freight forwarder on the buy side, not an electronics plant. That lets us put one matching sheet in front of several screened suppliers and compare their answers line by line.

Why “Universal” Is Not an Answer

Trade listings frequently describe a controller as universal. In practice, a two-wheeler electrical system is a set of agreements between motor, controller, throttle, display, harness, brake switches and charger. Change one agreement and the others have to follow. A supplier who answers a compatibility question with an adjective has not given you a specification you can put on a purchase order.

The practical consequence is simple: a container of controllers that does not match your fleet is not a cheap purchase, it is dead stock with a return freight problem. We ask for a sample built against your exact vehicle, a wiring photograph set, and a written response to each row of the sheet below before anyone discusses a batch.

The Matching Sheet

Every row is a field to confirm, not a rating we publish. Where a value depends on the motor or the vehicle model, it stays marked “to confirm” until the supplier returns it in writing and a sample has been run.

Field What the enquiry must state Failure mode if it is guessed Evidence to approve
System voltage family The nominal platform of the vehicle and the allowable operating window Over-voltage shutdown or nuisance cut-out under load Written specification and a labelled sample unit
Motor arrangement Hub or other motor type, Hall sensor presence and phase count No start, rough start, or reverse rotation Motor photograph, part code and a running sample test
Phase angle and learning Required phase relationship and whether self-learning is supported Vibration, noise and excess heating at low speed Approved parameter record tied to the golden sample
Throttle and display Signal type and the display communication protocol used by the vehicle Throttle works but speed or battery indication does not Protocol statement and a bench test with the actual display
Brake, reverse and auxiliary inputs Which inputs the harness carries and their logic level Safety function or reverse feature not operating Wiring diagram and connector pinout
Connector and harness Connector family, pin order, wire length and exit direction Physical fit but wrong pin order, or a harness that will not route Pinout drawing and photographs of both mating halves
Housing and environment Mounting geometry, sealing expectation and cable strain relief Water ingress or vibration failure after a season Housing drawing and an agreed environmental check

The last column is the point. A parameter record tied to a retained golden sample is what makes a second batch comparable to the first. A photograph of a label is not.

Sample Approval Before a Batch

We ask for a sample built to the confirmed sheet, then a documented bench or vehicle test with the actual motor, display and harness. The approved unit becomes the golden sample, its parameter record is versioned, and the supplier is asked to state what will not change in production. This is also where the battery and charger matching guide becomes relevant: a replacement controller can change the charge and cut-off behaviour of the whole system.

Factory capability evidence is gathered through our factory verification process, and the batch check is run as described in the pre-shipment inspection service.

Batch Consistency and Traceability

Electronic parts fail commercially through drift rather than through dramatic defects. A firmware revision, a substituted connector or a different parameter table can appear between the approved sample and the shipment. The table below is the record we keep with the buyer.

Record Why it is kept What it looks like in practice
Golden sample identity Gives both sides one physical reference A retained unit, photographs and a dated approval note
Parameter and revision record Prevents silent firmware or setting changes A versioned sheet listing the agreed settings and the declared revision
Batch and carton identity Makes a field failure traceable to one production run Carton marks, a batch code and a matching packing list
Function check at sampling Confirms the batch behaves like the sample Agreed checks on a sample drawn from the running batch, with recorded results

Where your order also contains harnesses, displays or chargers from a second plant, we consolidate them under one SKU register using the method in our spare parts consolidation guide. Carton marks and artwork are handled by the custom packaging service.

Packing, Static Protection and Freight

Controllers are light, which is exactly why freight is often misquoted. Carton count, protective packaging, static protection for the electronics and the volumetric weight of a consolidated shipment all matter more than the unit weight. We ask the supplier to state the carton quantity, inner protection, label placement and whether the units are packed with or without their harnesses. Our DDP shipping page explains how the delivery term and importer of record are recorded; small first orders follow the small-batch sourcing route.

If the parts are going into a retail or e-commerce channel rather than a workshop, our FBA prep service and dropshipping service describe the labelling and dispatch options.

Questions Workshops Ask First

Will this controller fit my vehicle model?

We do not make that claim from a product page. Send the vehicle model, the motor and Hall arrangement, the system voltage, and photographs of the existing connector and display. We return a matched sample for approval before any batch.

Can I use one controller across 48V, 60V and 72V fleets?

Treat them as separate configurations. A controller is specified against a voltage window and a motor, and a unit that tolerates more than one platform still needs its settings and pinout confirmed for each vehicle family.

Do you publish current or power ratings?

Not on this page. Those values depend on the matched motor and the confirmed configuration. We record them in the versioned specification once a sample is approved, rather than printing a number that a buyer might rely on before matching.

What if the second batch behaves differently?

That is what the golden sample and the parameter revision record are for. We tie the batch identity to the approval record and run an agreed function check on a sample from the running batch before shipment.

Can you consolidate controllers with other electrical spares?

Yes, and it is usually the efficient route. We keep one SKU register and one carton mark system across plants so a warranty claim can be traced to a specific part and batch.

It helps to attach a photograph of the existing controller label, both connector faces, the motor part code and the display. Those four images usually answer more than a paragraph of description. No obligation and no long form.
